My journey to become a Human Resources Consultant began many years ago when I graduated from Humber College and Ryerson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management.  


I received Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) accreditation from The Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) in 2009 and was granted Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) status in 2014.  To broaden my strengths in people management, I became certified in the following assessments from Thomas International: Personal Profile Analysis (PPA), High Potential Trait Indicator (HPTI), and General Intelligence Assessment (GIA).  I also became a Certified Joint Health & Safety Committee Member through The Occupational Safety Group.


My first role in HR was in the Freight Forwarding & Logistics industry. I knew right away that I made the right decision to get into HR as I discovered how challenging yet rewarding the field can be.  Working in recruitment, benefits, training, and time & attendance, I realized that I had an incredible aptitude and appreciation for various HR technological platforms.  


I then joined the world of Human Resources Consulting.  I worked with a team of HR Consultants servicing clients from various industries.  It was then that I understood the value and benefits of providing outsourced HR solutions for different types of organizations.


A great opportunity to join a world-class Window & Door company as their first HR Manager was presented and I jumped on board.   I was given the freedom to build an HR program from scratch.  I was able to research and implement many systems and programs including an HR system, a learning & compliance system, recruitment tools, an employee handbook, enhanced group employee benefits, and much more.  It was in this role that I realized how much determination and effort was required to develop an HR program, but also how rewarding it was to see implemented solutions making a difference in the lives of staff. 


At this point in my career, I realized that my skills and experience could be a great asset to small and medium-sized businesses and start-up organizations.  Now I am ready to make a difference in your organization. Small tasks, large projects, I am here to help you!
