Each October, Small Business Week pays tribute to the entrepreneurs who contribute so much to our communities. They provide well-paying local jobs within our towns and cities, they create opportunities, sell products and services, pay taxes, and bring energy, and distinctiveness to our streets, and they are the backbone of our economy.
These outstanding women entrepreneurs will receive the RPA Women Entrepreneur Award on Saturday October 16, 2021 at a Small Business Week Celebration being held at Hyatt Place Luxe Convention Centre, 5787 Hurontario Street, Mississauga with limited personal attendance due to Covid-19 social distancing guidelines and this event will be available via Zoom media.
Hon. Peter Bethlenfalvy, MPP & Ontario’s Minister of Finance will be the keynote speaker who will highlight the Ontario government’s post COVID-19 plan to stimulate the economy and create jobs.
His Worship Patrick Brown, Mayor of Brampton will present the RPA awards to the successful women entrepreneurs.
“I am so honoured to be one of the recipients of this award. I am so impressed with RPA’s goal to empower women entrepreneurs in Canada and work with them to help them succeed in their businesses. Hopefully this will be a great incentive for more female entrepreneurs to take a leap of faith and be their own business owners!”
